PREMIUM VERSION MADE IN GERMANY These gland nuts for VW Volkswagen have always been the standard for quality when building a motor. Stock 36mm gland nuts are torqued to 254 ft lbs. New performance chromoly gland nuts can be torqued 350 ft lbs and higher and have up to 3 times the strength of stock gland nuts. Some aftermarket gland nuts require larger diameter sockets when installed. We have tested all of our chromoly gland nuts in drag racing and offroad applications with great success. It is common practice to use high strength loctite when installing gland nuts in performance applications. Engine: 1200-1600cc VW Socket Size: 36mm
