GLAND NUTS

This is a replacement pilot bearing for your VW crankshaft gland nut. This is the bearing that the input shaft from the transmission rides on. Over time these get worn or damaged. Make sure to replace this any time you use heat to remove the gland nut

New performance chromoly gland nuts can be torqued 350 ft lbs and higher and have up to 3 times the strength of stock gland nuts. Some aftermarket gland nuts require larger diameter sockets when installed. We have tested all of our chromoly gland nuts in drag racing and offroad applications with great success.
